Expounded Gospel Truths.

Listen. Here is the skinny in simple words, and simple truth. I am going to just use God's Word, as it builds upon itself line upon line, precept upon precept. If any man strives to interpret God's word in his own words, not constantly allowing the Bible to interpret itself, flee from such a man. This is no mystery, and is not open to interpretation. What God has to say is not difficult to understand, but is surely difficult to receive if you do not want to hear the truth. Here is God's word. May He open your heart to see the Truth that you may return to Him and be healed.

The Creation:

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
-Genesis 1:1-5

The word "the" above is the definitive article. That was "thee" first day. Before then, there was no days. God created everything from nothing, contrary to the belief that everything made itself. In six days God created everything that is... In six days Jesus created everything that is.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
-John 1:1-3

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
-Colossians 1:15-18

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
-Genesis 1:26-31

Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished.
Genesis 2:1

We were created in the image of God. By Him, for Him, and to Him we were created. When Jesus finished making man in Their image, He saw that everything was good. There was no sin. There was no separation from God, and we had open communion with Him as we were His friend. This is what we were created for. For Him.

The Fall of Man:

He had given all of His creation to the man and woman He had created. He had made them rulers over the Earth, and commanded them to procreate and subdue all that He had created.

Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
-Genesis 1:28

The only thing the Lord told them not to do was to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The discernment between right and wrong. All they had to do was just trust God, and enjoy what God had given them.

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;  but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
Genesis 2:16-17

Sometime after the six day creation, Lucifer rebelled against God. This is evident because such an act could not possibly be considered "good", and we know that on the sixth day of creation "Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. (Genesis 1:31).

“How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!
For you have said in your heart:
‘I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation
On the farthest sides of the north;
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.’

-Isaiah 14:12-14

The first temptation of man occurred in the garden of Eden. Lucifer declared to the woman that to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil would open their eyes and make them like God. He appealed to all of the things in her that might entice her, and she gave in to her desires.

Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
-Genesis 3:1

Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
-Genesis 3:4-6

The Delusion:

Once they had eaten of the fruit, they gained the discernment to decide right from wrong. The evidence of the change was immediately noticeable. When they trusted God's judgment entirely, they were naked together and thought nothing of it. After gaining the knowledge of right and wrong, they determined that being naked was shameful and not OK.

And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
-Genesis 2:25

Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
-Genesis 3:7

God had not told them that being naked was shameful, for that was in fact how He had made them. His rhetorical questions speaks volumes on so many levels. He is saying "Who told you that this is bad?"

And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?”
-Genesis 3:11

The knowledge of good and evil is indeed the great delusion, and the epitome of sin. Who are we, the created, to question the Creator!? Yet we constantly profess that what is right to one person is not right to the next. The world today is absolutely corrupted by the lie that morals and right and wrong are situational and vary from one person to the next. It was never supposed to be this way. God decides right from wrong, but we are disillusioned by the very lie Lucifer told Eve in the beginning. "For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil" We each believe that we are god, determining right from wrong, and this is our separation from God.

“Because your heart is lifted up,
And you say, ‘I am a god,
I sit in the seat of gods,
In the midst of the seas,’
Yet you are a man, and not a god,
Though you set your heart as the heart of a god
(Behold, you are wiser than Daniel!
There is no secret that can be hidden from you!
With your wisdom and your understanding
You have gained riches for yourself,
And gathered gold and silver into your treasuries;
By your great wisdom in trade you have increased your riches,
And your heart is lifted up because of your riches),”

-Ezekiel 28:2-5

The Punishment:

The punishment was death for the charge of treason. God had told Adam and Eve the consequences before they had made the choice.

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;  but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
-Genesis 2:16-17

Death was imminent, and sure to come with the separation from God. God immediately removed Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, which contained the tree of life.

Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”—  therefore the Lord God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken.  So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.
-Genesis 3:22-24

As God is spirit, and the angels are ministering spirits, the armies of God march in the invisible realm. The things which are not seen being just as real as the things which are.

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
-John 4:24

But to which of the angels has He ever said:
“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”?

Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?
-Hebrews 1:13-14

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
-Ephesians 6:12

The treason against God brings for spiritual death, and physical death. Judgment must come for the heinous crime against the King. He has issued the order for His armies to execute that judgment, even now.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
-Romans 1:18-21

God is the Lord of Hosts, and all of the angel armies are His to command. Even the demonic host must obey their creator, and even Lucifer must ask permission from the King.

The Lord gives voice before His army,
For His camp is very great;
For strong is the One who executes His word.
For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible;
Who can endure it?

-Joel 2:11

“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,
The crawling locust,
The consuming locust,
And the chewing locust,
My great army which I sent among you.

-Joel 2:25

‘A sword, a sword is sharpened
And also polished!
Sharpened to make a dreadful slaughter,
Polished to flash like lightning!
Should we then make mirth?
It despises the scepter of My son,
As it does all wood.
And He has given it to be polished,
That it may be handled;
This sword is sharpened, and it is polished
To be given into the hand of the slayer.’

-Ezekiel 21:9-11

So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!”
And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.”
So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

-Job 1:9-12

So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Skin for skin! Yes, all that a man has he will give for his life. But stretch out Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will surely curse You to Your face!” And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.”
-Job 2:4-6

And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.
-Luke 22:31

The judgment of God for our rebellion is revealed in His wrath from heaven even today. The angel armies march perpetually against those in rebellion against God.

“Because you have set your heart as the heart of a god,
Behold, therefore, I will bring strangers against you,
The most terrible of the nations;
And they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom,
And defile your splendor.
They shall throw you down into the Pit,
And you shall die the death of the slain
In the midst of the seas.

Will you still say before him who slays you,
‘I am a god’?
But you shall be a man, and not a god,
In the hand of him who slays you.
You shall die the death of the uncircumcised
By the hand of aliens;
For I have spoken,” says the Lord God.’”

-Ezekiel 28:6-10

I do not expect this to be easy for you to accept, but it does not change the truth. God stated that it would be something that you would not believe even when it were told to you. Nonetheless, He spoke it.

“Look among the nations and watch—
Be utterly astounded!
For I will work a work in your daysWhich you would not believe, though it were told you.
For indeed I am raising up the Chaldeans,
A bitter and hasty nation
Which marches through the breadth of the earth,
To possess dwelling places that are not theirs.
They are terrible and dreadful;
Their judgment and their dignity proceed from themselves.
Their horses also are swifter than leopards,
And more fierce than evening wolves.
Their chargers charge ahead;
Their cavalry comes from afar;
They fly as the eagle that hastens to eat.

“They all come for violence;
Their faces are set like the east wind.
They gather captives like sand.
They scoff at kings,
And princes are scorned by them.
They deride every stronghold,
For they heap up earthen mounds and seize it.

-Habakkuk 1:5-10

Nobody had ever seen demons cast out of anybody before Jesus did it. They that witnessed the events were scared to death. They did not believe what I tell you either, but it doesn't change the truth.

When He had come to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way. And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?” Now a good way off from them there was a herd of many swine feeding. So the demons begged Him, saying, “If You cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of swine.” And He said to them, “Go.” So when they had come out, they went into the herd of swine. And suddenly the whole herd of swine ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and perished in the water. Then those who kept them fled; and they went away into the city and told everything, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to depart from their region.
-Matthew 8:28-34

The Redemption:

God's love is from the foundation of the world though, and He promised to save those who are His.

“Get out of your country,
From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.

I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

-Genesis 12:1-3

The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:
“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.

-Jeremiah 31:3

Though the just consequence for blatant rebellion against the one true King is deserving of punishment and the wrath of the King, God is a merciful God. Justice must be carried out, or the Judge could not be deemed just. That being said, God provided the sacrifice to suffer the wrath and judgment for our sins. He provided His own Son. He provided the Deity Himself in flesh and blood to pay the just penalty for our acts of treason so that we might be reconciled to Himself once again, all the while remaining just and fair.

And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.
Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!”
-Matthew 27:50-54

For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.
-Colossians 1:19-23

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
-Colossians 1:13

And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
-Colossians 2:13-15

It is necessary for God to fill us with His Holy Spirit. We are at war, spiritually, and we must fight spirit with spirit. If the Holy Spirit is not abiding within us, then we are open for the grabs.

“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none.  Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.”
-Matthew 12:43-45

“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.  And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning."
-John 15:26-27

Life, true life and eternal life, ONLY comes one way. We must be filled with the Holy Spirit. There is NO other way.

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
-John 3:5-8

You are in a fight for your life, and you don't even know it. You think this is a game, a fairy tale, but it is you who is disillusioned. This is reality. This is true. It is crazy how so many people deny what the Bible says, and deny that Jesus is God. Read these verses again. Either Jesus is the Son of God, one with the Father, or He was a raving lunatic. There is no compromise.

Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.”
-John 10:25-30

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”
-John 17:20-26

Either this Man is who He says He is, or He was a crazy person entirely. Though the wrath of God is poured out on the unrighteousness of man even today, the final day of reckoning will come. There will be judgment. Jesus says that everything that is found outside of Him will be utterly destroyed.

"I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples."
-John 15:1-8

"When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left."
-Matthew 25:31-33

"The day of judgment is certain to come. And it will be like a red-hot furnace with flames that burn up proud and sinful people, as though they were straw. Not a branch or a root will be left. I, the Lord All-Powerful, have spoken! But for you that honor my name, victory will shine like the sun with healing in its rays, and you will jump around like calves at play. When I come to bring justice, you will trample those who are evil, as though they were ashes under your feet. I, the Lord All-Powerful, have spoken!"
-Malachi 4:1-3

"Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire."
-Revelation 20:11-15

"And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day."
-2 Thessalonians 1:7-10

This is the skinny. This is real. Do what you like with the information, but this is what God has to say on the subject. I hope you heard what really is instead of just what you want to hear.
